Belinda Akinyi

By the time Belinda Akinyi graduated from Innis primary she had lost both of her parents. The fifth born in a family of seven she was on the verge of dropping out despite having passed her KCPE as among the best in the school. Recognising her potential, Mr. Awiti the Headteacher at Innis, referred Belinda to Zest for. After 4 years at Kisumu Girls High School on our education bursary programme, Belinda took up the offer to study at Moi University and graduated in 2022 with a BA in Linguistics Media and Communication. She is currently working in the Netherlands and hoping to start a Master’s.
