UK Schools Raise Funds for Zest for Life
Community Fundraising Goes Country-wide!
We've just received a very welcome donation of £91.40 from a Primary School in Gateshead. Simon Burns, Year 6 class teacher at Brighton Avenue Primary School tells us that:
"the children enjoyed raising the money on your behalf and were impressed with the work you do. We completed the project as part of the Youth Trust Young Leaders Award which encourages the children to make difference in their local communities and the wider world. Their motto being: ‘Be the change you want to see’."
A big thank you to Zainab and Nicoline, the two girls who organised a book sale and bake sales to raise the cash.
We've also received donations from Shropshire schools:
- Sir John Talbots School, Whitchurch - students raised funds for our sanitation projects and the school donated their old football kit and other items of sports clothing for Miriu Mixed Secondary.
- Buntingsdale Primary School, Market Drayton - the children rasied money for mosquito nets and books for Innis Education Centre.
